The auto-fetch of statements, invoices, receipts, etc. assists greatly collecting proper documentation. Love that it’s easily accessible from any mobile device with a connection. Has the capability to be fed into accounting software which streamlines processes. The ability to drill into an transaction and see the physical source document https://www.bookstime.com/articles/bookkeeping-las-vegas (in seconds) is an absolute game changer! GetApp offers free software discovery and selection resources for professionals like you. Hubdoc connects easily to your bank accounts and your statements upload automatically.
Easy to use software , goes really well with Xero
I like the automatic document fetch and the ability to sync to our document storage platform. I like that I can store all of my client accesses under one username. My main problem with Hubdoc is that the banks and credit cards that our client’s use (we have over 50 clients) are not all compatible with Hubdoc. We will usually need to contact our client to re-enter their credentials to get the feed back up and running (which seems to happen frequently) OR we have to work around the error if the bank isn’t syncing at all. Sometimes the auto fetch connections go down, but the support team fixes the issue as fast as possible. I would also appreciate SAML based SSO in the future.
Good for receipt management
Greatest fetching tool ever for online file management. Auto fetches bank statements, check images, deposit images, and allows for easy email forwarding of receipts, bills, and all other paperwork that needs to go into your financials and accounting. Use a specific email address or the mobile app to upload documents. Easily files everything for you in alphabetized folders for easy reference later.
Automated Bookkeeping… Almost
This is highly frustrating because in the end you are better to not use the software. It allows document storage and email forwarding, as well as syncing with a bookkeeping software. hubdoc reviews Adding new accounts requires a dummy email address, which is strange. More complex bills need quite a lot of manual input, especially with CIS and multicurrency. I love that Hubdoc makes bookkeeping more efficient. A great time saver that accurately imports data into our accounting system.
- We thought we had a solution to save clients time, and now we have to ask them to log in every month.
- I also don’t need to worry about login data from my clients, so no concern about protecting their logins.
- Our financial data entry used to be extremely manual – too much manual entry.
- I have had no issues thus far and the support team has been very helpful in adding new vendors I work with.
- My main problem with Hubdoc is that the banks and credit cards that our client’s use (we have over 50 clients) are not all compatible with Hubdoc.
- As it is owned by the same company – I can see why. Please don’t waste your time or efforts on what is a floored accounting “package”.
- Mobile app is limited with some of the features, not all of the web-based features translate across to the mobile app.
- Employees should be able to setup Hubdoc inboxes with their own email address to send receipts to.
- This system allows our clients to easily forward and automates sending us all their bookkeeping paperwork so we can do their books for them in the cloud.
- Automatic storage of documents by name of suppliers.
- We implicated this solution for our document storage problem.
- Usually needs some user input to push transactions to Xero correctly.
You can’t copy and paste data from the PDF into the data fields. The integration with Xero is also pretty awful – you’re expected to have a contact exist both in HubDoc and in Xero. The “automated” extraction of invoices literally only exists for a handful (maybe 12?) organisations. I could easily snap pics on invoices and the integration with Xero was seamless.
If you have bad phone signal it just doesn’t work. Iv been using it for 14 months now and really ready to move to FreeAgent or something else. HubDoc integrates https://www.instagram.com/bookstime_inc with 100+ business apps via APIs and offers add-ons like Adobe Sign eSignature and HubDoc Expenses. Overall, HubDoc provides a comprehensive solution for streamlining financial operations for SMBs and enterprises. This is still hindering some clients from experiencing it as a whole.
HubDoc helps with automation
I don’t like the price, it is only worthwhile if you have a decent paying client and they actually utilize it. I also wish they would allow you to send deposit type transactions to Quickbooks. The bank statement fetching doesn’t always work either.
